Have you ever wondered if you were born at the wrong time? I was still a wee slip of a lad during the Vietnam War protests and thought they looked like great fun, not to mention a good way to meet girls, but my parents wouldn’t let me march. Had I been born a decade earlier, who knows how my life would have turned out? Instead of being a Quaker pastor, I might have become a pompous prig like Rush Limbaugh, also from a small Midwestern town, and had four wives and an addiction to OxyContin.
