I know a man who voted for Donald Trump three times, believes the 2020 election was rigged, that Trump is a patriot, and has done more for Black people than any other president, living or dead. He will not hear any word to the contrary, will not concede to any error or abuse on Trump’s part, and though he does not participate in any religion, fervently believes God has installed Trump as the president and that to resist Trump is to reject God’s will. He views the world through the lens of racism, sexism, and homophobia, so is drawn to Trump, like calling unto like.
