When Donald Trump first spoke about making America great again, I recognized it as a recycled Ronald Reagan phrase, and suspected it would have the same result, the rich would get richer and the poor would get screwed, and sure enough, that’s what’s happened. The Republicans are masterful at coining clever phrases that mean the exact opposite of what they’re doing. See right-to-work and pro-life and family values. But I have to hand it to Donald Trump, for once he wasn’t lying. He is actually making America great again.
