One correction, if I may: there are some actions in the body that are governed by neurons in the spinal cord, not in the brain. Of course, they are simple, physical actions, like the knee jerk, and don't rise to the level of human judgment.

By the way, though I would imagine others have mentioned this to you, it's LGBT, not GLBT. So it would be Lettuce, guacamole, bacon and tomato. : )
