If you have struggled with this issue, or know someone who has, please feel free to pass it along. It seems especially fitting when so many trans people are being targeted by national leaders.
Wonderful drash. One thought…I think we should love others regardless of the science that makes it easier to understand them. In this case, we should have been actively having a loving, compassionate attitude towards transgender people prior to the science that makes it”explains” them.
Thank you. I love that you write how our faith should be an informed faith. It’s so important to always seek to know more. This increases our empathy. How wonderful!!
I love this message. I began following Jazz Jennings in 2007; when she met with Barbara Walters. She was 6 years old and born with her outside looking like a male. Yet, she always gravitated towards girl toys and clothes. She was eventually prescribed gender affirming counseling and medication. At an appropriate age she had the surgery that changed her outside to match her brain. She has attended college, explored relationships, and participated in many things to improve the lives of others. She has a very supportive family. However, living her authentic self created a lot of bullying towards her and her family. Today, she is a beautiful woman on the inside and out. I think she would be thrilled to know your message, Phillip. Thank You Wishing All Best Days...M

Great message repeated. Thank you for reminding us to be kind, compassionate, informed and understanding. Thank you for leading, Phillip Gulley.
This should be required reading--for everyone with political aspirations, at a minimum.
Thank you for this.
